Robert Kent Peine

Robert Kent Peine, 64, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday December 15, 2008. He was born in Durango Colorado to M.
Milton and Mildred Peine. He married Melanie Stringham on April 12th, 1969 in the Oakland California LDS Temple. Robert grew up on a farm in Red Mesa Coloradoand graduated from Durango
High School in 1962. He served an LDS mission in the Uruguay, Montevideo mission from 1964-1967. He attended Brigham Young University graduating with a degree in Geography Area Studies.
He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War and while there was called to serve another mission in the South Hong Kong mission.He was actively involved in the LDS church holding many callings and
was always actively engaged in the service of others.He is survived by his wife Melanie, of Pleasant Grove, and 9 children: Allyson(Ron), Brant (Sharri), Krista (Jared), Rachelle (Ryan), Derek(Paige), Travis (Brittny),Brooke (Billy), Morgan (Clint), Devin,
12 grandchildren, and by his siblings Dean, Russell, Carol, Craig, and Kirk.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 22, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the LDS Chapel on 1106East 200 South in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Interment will
be at Camp Williams with full military honors. Condolences may be sent to the
